Daniel Ward

Elder/Lead Pastor

I grew up in Wilmington but moved away for 7 years to Atlanta. God called us back home to serve at Impact Church in 2011.  I am focused on connecting people to the overall vision and purpose of the church by sharing the Gospel with them and encouraging them to live in gospel-centered community.  From day to day it is difficult to say exactly what I will be doing, but that’s part of the fun of ministry. I have a beautiful wife and partner in ministry, Jess. We have been married since 1999 and we have been blessed with 3 boys: Joshua, Caleb, and Jackson.

Jason Bostian

Elder/Associate Pastor

My wife(Heather) and I have been apart of Impact Church since 2009. Since then our family has grown as we adopted our daughter, Grace, who is now 11 years old and Hannah, who is 7 years old. After college I joined the core team to help plant Impact Church. It has been an incredible experience being a part of this core team. I have seen many folks come to know Christ and have their lives completely transformed. God is using Impact Church to make a difference in our city! I have the privilege of serving as Associate Pastor at Impact, where I share preaching responsibilities as well as oversee our Impact Kids and Camp Impact ministries. I love the opportunity God has given me to teach kids and adults about Jesus on their level.

I also enjoy serving on our Worship team as well as leading a life group.  I am also a Physician (General Internal Medicine) here in Wilmington. I have been married to my wife(Wendie) for 30 years and we have three children together -Ben(married), Emmie, and Megan.

Bill Moore

Elder - students  & finance

I first got connected to Impact through serving at Camp Impact. It was during that time that God placed a clear call on my life to pursue full-time vocational ministry. What excites me most about this role is the opportunity to do the work God has called me to do in the church He’s called me to be a part of, all while continuing to wait on His timing for a full-time ministry position. I’m passionate about helping people turn their attention and affections toward Christ and leveraging their lives for the advancement of the gospel in whole-hearted devotion to God.
I met my wife, Sarah, through Camp Impact. We got married in 2022 and are now joyfully expecting our first child in January 2026.

Jenna Kornegay

Ministry Assistant / Office Administrator

I grew up in WIlmington my whole life, and left for college at Western Carolina University in 2021. During my second summer of school, I had the opportunity to work at Camp Impact. I took a summer off following, and returned this summer which is when I was introduced to this opportunity to further work for Impact Church and serve the community. I graduated in May 2025 with a Bachelor's of Science in Recreational Therapy and I am now enrolled at UNCW as I earn my Master's in Applied Gerontology. I am so excited to see where this role guides me through this church and through the Wilmington area!
