The Vision

TO BE A CHURCH THAT TAKES THE GOSPEL TO OUR CITY.

The Forward initiative is not a new vision. It actually dovetails right into our vision. The purpose of the FORWARD initiative is to help us prepare spiritually and financially to step boldly into the next season of ministry God has for us.
As we grow deeper and walk closer in our relationship with Jesus, the foundation of our faith will strengthen. We will have a better understanding of God's love and how He rescued us from our brokeness and hopeless situation. Thus, we will be better equipped to share the Good News with the broken and hopeless around us. In short, we can HELP PEOPLE TAKE THEIR NEXT STEP WITH JESUS.

2 Corinthians 5:17-20

Therefore if anyone is in Christ, this person is a new creation; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come. Now all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation, namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their wrongdoings against them, and He has committed to us the word of reconciliation.

Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making an appeal through us; we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.
